"To describe the agony of a marathon to someone who's never run it is like trying to explain color to someone who was born blind."
-Jerome Drayton
Although updating my blog has proven difficult for me, the running has continued! Today was a long run and I am sitting on the coach with legs that feel like bricks. Marian and I ran 13 miles today.... My new favorite phrase is going to be "wow, I have never run this far before...." Just found that my pre-run dinner of choice is chicken and rice and that hydration really does matter. So....this week I conquered the hill that killed me last Sunday, and ran 13 miles....no problem. Sorry for the delay, please see the weeks below-
